Todd is a seasoned business litigator, trying numerous cases to verdict. He was named among the “Top 50 St. Louis Lawyers” by Super Lawyers in 2024 and 2025. He represents clients in a wide variety of commercial litigation matters, including real estate disputes, contract claims, breach of fiduciary duty allegations, and shareholder issues. Todd provides business and transaction advice as general counsel to multiple companies with offices throughout the United States. He also regularly advises both companies and employees on employment-related matters. Additionally, Todd and the Carmody MacDonald HOA team currently represent over 300 homeowner and condominium associations.
Todd has received numerous accolades for his professional excellence. In 2020, Missouri Lawyers Weekly presented Todd the “Influential Appellate Advocate” award for persuading the Missouri Supreme Court to overturn a decades-old precedent that had made it difficult for homeowners to effectively govern their communities.
