Commitment To Community

Since its founding, Carmody MacDonald’s commitment to community has been as strong as its passion and desire to champion client goals and aspirations. The firm’s attorneys and staff members are active in the community with their time, knowledge, financial support and most importantly, with their hearts and minds. The firm supports all employees in seeking leadership positions on civic and business boards, in schools, foundations, and service groups, as well as fundraisers for charities and causes of all kinds.

Members of the Carmody MacDonald team participate in more than 50 organizations across the region in a wide range of civic, philanthropic, professional, educational and charitable activities and organizations, including the RCGA, the Clayton Chamber of Commerce, Junior Achievement, Art St. Louis, Make-A-Wish Foundation, and others.

The same spirit of dedication, persistence, selflessness, preparedness and endurance that we extend to our clients, we humbly extend to our community.

Pro Bono Work

The firm encourages its lawyers to share their expertise and passion for justice with those who need help and support but cannot afford the services of an attorney. The firm dedicates hundreds of hours each year to pro bono work and considers this work both a professional responsibility and a privilege.

The firm was honored to have been acknowledged by Legal Services of Eastern Missouri, Inc. in 2008 with the first-ever Gerald R. Ortbals Outstanding Law Firm Award. This Volunteer Lawyer Award given by Legal Services recognizes Carmody MacDonald as a firm that has truly distinguished itself with its commitment to pro bono service.
