  • Full-time Attorney – Litigation Department

    We are seeking an associate attorney with six or more years of experience to join our Litigation department. Ideal candidates will have experience in business litigation, complex commercial litigation, real estate litigation, general civil litigation, condemnation and/or trusts and estates litigation. Candidates should have the ability to manage multiple projects independently and provide practical client counseling. Critical thinking, drafting and problem-solving skills are emphasized. All candidates should have strong academic credentials, a willingness to accept responsibility, and share our commitment to client service and professional excellence.

  • Full-Time Family Law Paralegal

    We are seeking a highly skilled family law paralegal with one or more years of experience to join our dynamic legal team. Candidates must be reliable, organized, and have excellent communication and computer skills, with the ability to work compassionately with clients navigating sensitive personal matters.

    • Key Duties and Responsibilities:
      • Case Management: Assist attorneys in all stages of family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, and modifications; draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses.
      • Document Management: Organize and maintain case files, including financial statements, parenting plans, and court filings, ensuring all documents are accurate and easily accessible.
      • Trial and Hearing Preparation: Assist in preparation for hearings, mediations, and trials by compiling exhibits, preparing witness lists, and coordinating with court personnel.
      • Client and Team Communication: Communicate with clients in a professional and empathetic manner; gather sensitive information and provide case status updates; act as a team-player assisting other paralegals and attorneys.
      • Deadline Management: Track and manage deadlines for filings, responses, court appearances, and mediation requirements, ensuring compliance with court rules and procedures.
      • Billing and Timekeeping: Record billable hours accurately and assist with preparing invoices for clients.
    • Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
      • Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.
      • One or more years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on family law or litigation preferred.
      • Familiarity with family court procedures, filing requirements, and local rules.
      • Experience preparing financial affidavits, statements of income and expenses, and asset/liability summaries.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
      • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
      • Experience with document management and e-filing systems.
      • Prior courtroom, mediation, or hearing preparation experience preferred.
      • Adaptability and willingness to take on new tasks as they arise.
      • Ability to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision.
      • Ability to structure complex projects efficiently and set/adjust priorities effectively; superior attention to detail; excellent judgment and use of discretion.
      • Ability to manage multiple projects and work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Full-Time Paralegal – Estate Planning and Trusts & Estates Administration

    We are seeking a highly skilled paralegal with at least three to five years of experience in estate planning and trusts & estates administration to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and possesses strong communication and client service skills.

    • Key Duties and Responsibilities:
      • Document Preparation: Draft estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives under attorney supervision.
      • Estate and Trust Administration: Assist attorneys with probate and trust administration tasks, including preparation of court pleadings, inventories, accountings, deeds, and related filings.
      • Client Interaction: Communicate with clients, financial institutions, and other third parties to gather information and provide updates throughout the estate planning or administration process.
      • File and Record Management: Organize and maintain detailed files and documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy throughout the lifecycle of each matter.
      • Legal Research: Conduct research on relevant statutes and procedures related to probate and fiduciary responsibilities.
      • Deadline and Calendar Management: Track and manage important deadlines for court filings, tax returns, distributions, and other administrative obligations.
      • Billing and Timekeeping: Accurately record billable time and assist with invoice preparation.
      • Client Service: Provide high-level support in managing sensitive and often emotional client matters with professionalism, discretion, and empathy.
    • Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
      • Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience
      • 3–5 years of experience in estate planning and/or trusts & estates administration
      • Familiarity with probate court procedures and rules in Missouri and/or Illinois
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word and Excel); experience with estate planning software is a plus
      • Excellent organizational and time management skills
      • Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
      • Attention to detail and sound judgment in handling confidential matters
      • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with attorneys, staff, and clients
