Overview

Jack Gilkey is an attorney in the firm’s litigation practice. He joined Carmody MacDonald in 2024 after three years working as a litigator in Kansas City, Missouri. As a civil litigator, he has experience in a wide range of commercial disputes, including experience in the areas of construction, professional liability, employment, trade secret, insurance coverage, intellectual property, appellate practice, and business torts.

Jack graduated first in his class from the University of Missouri – Columbia School of Law in 2021. During his time in law school, he served as a teaching assistant in multiple courses, received the Judge L.F. Cottey Advocacy Award, and served as a law school ambassador.  Jack earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Mizzou, graduating summa cum laude.
