Overview

Sam Beffa is an associate in the firm’s transactional group and focuses his practice on real estate, corporate transactions, and business law.

He advises businesses, developers, landlords, tenants, and owners through all aspects of real estate transactions. Sam has experience negotiating and documenting property acquisitions, sales, leases, easements, and other complex real estate and transactional documents for commercial, industrial, and residential properties and other various real estate assets. Sam also assists clients in the development and financing of real estate assets and in obtaining zoning, land use, and subdivision approvals. In addition, Sam has represented public and private entities, individuals, municipalities, and other political subdivisions in a variety of matters, including drafting and negotiating real estate, development, and other agreements, administrative and special governmental matters, annexations, legislation construction and interpretation, and in the formation and representation of special business and improvement districts.

Sam was selected by FOCUS St. Louis as a member of the Spring 2021 cohort for the Emerging Leaders Program. Sam was also named to the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America list for 2022 for his work in Land Use and Zoning Law.

Sam was a summer intern at Carmody MacDonald before starting law school and joined Carmody MacDonald as an attorney in 2022.
