Matt Thoelke joined Carmody MacDonald in 2023 and focuses his practice on general civil litigation. Prior to joining Carmody MacDonald, he worked at a boutique civil litigation firm in St. Louis where he primarily represented clients in products liability matters and transportation defense. Matt has successfully litigated cases in state and federal court and has experience counseling large corporate clients, including Fortune 500 companies.
Matt earned his B.A. in political science, cum laude, from Auburn University and his J.D. from Saint Louis University. He is licensed to practice in Missouri as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, Western District of Missouri, and Southern District of Illinois. While in law school, Matt received the Judge Robert Dowd Sr. Appellate Advocacy Award and was a member of the Saint Louis University Moot Court team.
