Overview

Kerri Mitchell is an attorney in the firm’s litigation group. She focuses her practice in Homeowner and Condo Association Law. Kerri collaborates with associations on their specific legal needs and assists them with collection of delinquent assessments, amending, restating, and enforcing governing documents, and defense of lawsuits brought against the association.

Kerri also counsels clients on amending or restating plats, corporate governance questions, rezoning and real estate development issues, tax issues before the local taxing authorities, code enforcement issues with local authorities, and review of loan and bank documents.

She is an active member of the Community Associations Institute – Heartland Chapter.

Prior to joining Carmody MacDonald in 2022, Kerri worked as insurance counsel at a local St. Louis law firm. She received her Bachelor of Science in Economics from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and her Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law. Kerri is admitted to practice in both Missouri and Illinois.
