Greg Murphy concentrates his practice in banking law, mergers and acquisitions, real estate law, business law, and estate planning. Greg works with small and mid-size businesses across numerous industries and he is licensed in Missouri and Illinois.
Greg’s accounting background, which includes working for private companies prior to entering the legal profession and passing the CPA exam, provides him a unique perspective to understand clients’ needs and goals. His understanding of financial statements and the economics of a transaction allows him to provide effective and efficient counseling. Greg assists his clients with the appropriate financing for mergers and acquisitions and provides advice with the drafting, negotiating, and performance of contracts for the sale of business.

Greg grew up in the small town of Herrin in Southern Illinois where his father served as a circuit court judge.
