Overview

Greg Murphy is a member of the firm’s transactional practice group and concentrates his practice in banking law, real estate law, business law, and estate planning.

Greg’s accounting background, which includes working for private companies prior to entering the legal profession and passing the CPA exam, provides him a unique perspective to understand clients’ needs and goals. His understanding of financial statements and the economics of a transaction allows him to provide effective and efficient counseling.

Greg prides himself on providing outstanding client service to exceed his clients’ expectations.  He strives to keep a level-headed business-like approach to each transaction.

Greg grew up in the small town of Herrin in Southern Illinois where his father served as a circuit court judge.
