Shane Haley is an associate in Carmody MacDonald’s corporate/transactional group where he focuses his practice on commercial banking matters. He represents financial institutions and lenders in a wide range of transactions, providing practical guidance on structuring, documenting, and enforcing loans.
Shane’s experience includes drafting and reviewing loan documents, assisting with complex lending matters, and advising on regulatory compliance. He also has experience with foreclosures, loan workouts, and enforcement actions, helping clients protect their interests and navigate challenging situations. In addition, his broader real estate and business experience includes advising clients across a wide range of commercial engagements, including commercial lease negotiation and drafting, real estate acquisitions and dispositions, resolving business disputes and commercial matters, and facilitating efficient, well-coordinated transactions.
Shane earned his undergraduate degree in business administration and management from Lindenwood University and his Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Missouri–Kansas City.
Prior to entering the legal profession, Shane worked for a global commercial real estate services firm, where he gained experience focusing on industrial, office, and multifamily properties in the St. Louis market. During law school, he clerked for a St. Louis law firm, interned with the legal department of a national design and manufacturing company, and developed contract experience working with a multinational energy company.
