Two Attorneys Promoted to Shareholder and Five Attorneys Promoted to Partner

Carmody MacDonald P.C. has promoted two attorneys to shareholder and five attorneys to partner. The new shareholders are Mark Mulchek and Patrick Wittenbrink. The new partners include Brittany Brown, Jordan Poole, Elizabeth Barrett, Brad Zimmerman, and Brennan Connor.

“We are proud to recognize all of our new shareholders and partners for the significant contributions and value they have brought to our firm,” said Kevin Cushing, a managing partner at Carmody MacDonald. “They have earned significant professional recognitions in their careers while also providing important contributions to the community through their personal involvement.”

Mark and Patrick are in the firm’s corporate/transactional practice group. Mark represents clients primarily in estate planning, business law, and real estate, and leads the firm’s associates committee. Patrick focuses his practice in the areas of banking and finance as well as business law, estate planning, and real estate.

“Mark joined the firm after graduating from law school in 2008, and Patrick joined us ten  years ago,” Cushing added. “We are grateful for the results they have achieved on behalf of our clients and the impact they have made upon our entire staff.”

Brittany, Jordan, Elizabeth, Brennan, and Brad are now among the 36 partners currently at Carmody MacDonald.

Brittany and Jordan are in the firm’s family law practice group. Brittany and Jordan concentrate their practices in divorce and family law matters and have extensive experience with complex and high conflict litigation.

“Brittany and Jordan have the knowledge and proficiency that allow our family law department to continue to provide valuable services to our clients,” said Joyce Capshaw, a principal attorney in the family law practice group and the first associate attorney hired by Carmody MacDonald 41 years ago. “They understand the dynamics of today’s family law issues and have both been instrumental in expanding our practice.”

Elizabeth, Brennan, and Brad are in the firm’s corporate/transactional practice group. Elizabeth concentrates her practice in the areas of banking and finance, real estate, and business law. Brennan and Brad focus their practices in the areas of tax, estate planning, real estate, and business law.

“Our business law clients have been impressed with the results that Elizabeth, Brad, and Brennan have achieved,” Cushing said. “Their promotions are well-deserved and an important factor in the ongoing growth of our firm.”
