Dormie Ko is an associate at Carmody MacDonald. She focuses her practice on financial restructuring and bankruptcy.

During law school, Dormie spent a summer as a legal intern with the Missouri Office of the Public Counsel in Jefferson City to advocate for utility ratepayers. She was also a summer associate at an international law firm in Honolulu, Hawaii where she strategized with attorneys to pursue and achieve ideal business practices and objectives for clients, drafted and reviewed documents for presentation before the Ninth Circuit and Hawaii Supreme Court, and assisted clients in reaching successful settlements.

After earning her Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of British Columbia in 2015, she graduated from the School of Law at Washington University in St. Louis in 2019. While in law school, Dormie participated in moot court, the Public Service Advisory Board, and the environmental clinic.

Dormie was involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters in Vancouver, British Columbia as a mentor and youth leader for five years, is bilingual in Mandarin, and also teaches piano lessons.
